Look: Cloudy medium to dark orange with a silky-looking off-white head that settles to a lid, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Orange, pineapple, floral hop notes, strawberries, wafts of apricot, and sweet bready malt
Taste: A rush of pineapple pulp and juice, along with apricots flood onto the palate and develop as some orange-led citrus and berry notes follow close behind. As the fruit notes settle, floral hops peek quickly in and the malt sweetness is recognizable until pineapple returns to close it out
Mouthfeel: Full, medium-high carbonation, and a pretty soft and slightly silky finish
Overall: I dig it. At first glance, I thought these folks brought this retro IPA back but upon further investigation, it has been reformulated completely although like its predecessor, is still pretty tasty. Galaxy hops are very evident and work well with the other hop components nicely and all of it in an approachable, not bitter, nor dry IPA but also far from an NEIPA

Thanks to shawn for bringing this out to the football tailgate home opener in September '21. Even better than the average palate cleanser. Good role playing.

Pours a darker orange/amber like color. 1/3" off white head into the red solo cup. Aroma has some Chinook pine going for it. Motueka and Galaxy seem missing for the most part. You know the drill, use a ton of classic hops, but advert the two proprietary ones that are barely there in terms of quantity.

Taste is also heavy on the pine in comparison. There is the requisite citrus rind behind it. If you want to search high and low, I guess you could find the lightest amount of pineapple known to man. At the end of the day, it had a good Chinook hop bitterness and taste, and that will never go out of style (for me). Doesn't knock your socks off, but sometimes you just need a $1 beer to transition between more expensive beers. This works in that sense.

I keep trying to log this review but the submit button hasn't been working. Wonky.

This was poured into a nonic. The appearance was a light hazy burnt to semi-transparent bronzed orange color. Bubbles stick to the sides of the glass. A one finger white foamy head dissipated fairly quickly. Messy and clingy lacing wove its way around the glass. The smell started off with some dry pine shaping itself around some light citrus tones. The taste copied the smell and added in some light malty and orange coated bitter hops. A dry citrus aftertaste and a quick little bite of a citrusy/piney finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable feel about it. Carbonation feels right for an AIPA. Bitterness really hits like an AIPA - pummels nicely. Overall, this was a nice AIPA that I would have again.

On tap at the brewpub in Eugene, Oregon.
Amber colored body with a good head that leaves some lacing.
Caramel malts are dominated by, but not completely masked by, the hops in the nose.
Hops clearly dominate the flavor: this is moderately bitter. Grapefruit peel and herbal tones.

Smooth, medium body and near medium carbonation.

Bought 12oz bottle at PDX grocery store.
Enjoyed Alpha Centauri awhile back, though I'd give this a try...I have fairly low expectations, based on rating here.

Pours an orangey-gold, nice 1/2 inch foamy head that dissipates to a skim w bubble blotches.
Note: Lots of very tiny hop (?) bits floating in suspension, enough to make the glass murky. This is from a store that moves a lot of beer, so I'm assuming it's not a freshness issue.

Taste is crisp, and fresh. Hop effect is mainly bittering.....can't say as I detect much fruitiness, pine, or resin that others have noted here.

I'd drink it as a solid session pick, and when on sale, I'd definitely buy a sixer or two.

Pours golden amber/orange in color, thin head with streaky lacing. The aroma is light, a bit of orange, honey, and caramel malt. Flavor is much better. Hop forward, grapefruit and pine notes. Crisp finish with a juicy mouthfeel. A nice NW style IPA overall in my opinion.

Digging into my Portland haul. A bit on the cloudy side. More pine than citrus, bitterness on the back end, solid IPA.

Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma has some fruity and resiny notes but not very intense. Taste starts with some nice dank and overripe fruit notes and gets quite bitter in the aftertaste. Overall this is a good beer but there is something I don't like about it, which is the slightly too present alcohol for 6.3%.

Very nice colour, yellow-orange, with a tall head that doesn't last too long, but does leave a nice lacing behind. Smells like pine and pineapple, resin, citrus. Tastes is dominated by citrusy aromas, mixed with pine on a sugary backbone. Very drinkable, very enjoyable.
