Had on cask. This one is simple but very good. Clear for the most part with a frothy and lace leaving white head. Classic English malt and yeast with mildly citrus and earthy hops in both smell and taste. Light and so smooth with a dry frothiness, no much body behind this though

Pours a barely hazy honey gold-brown with a big cap of off-white head. Long-lasting retention with rings of lace. The aroma and flavor are pretty tight, with pale malt meatiness, some light hop earthiness and a faint hint of smoke. It is a little fizzy (I'm not convinced it is strictly cask, possibly carbed and just served through a pump (??) but either way, a soft, round feel, a bubbly cleansing of the palate and a lingering rich malty finish. A tasty beer that is to style with an emphasis on cereal flavor and a hint of husky hops. Enjoyable and was the highlight of the night's beers.

Sample at the brewery. Taste of cereal and caramel. Solid English bitter.
