Chocolate, caramel, and toasted malts contribute the sweet malty flavors and aromas to this Northern English-style brown ale.

On tap in Gettysburg. Light brown color with some reddish highlights when held up. Very nice cocoa nib scent, though much stronger on the nose than the tongue. The flavor is much thinner than expected. Not unpleasant but not exceptional.

Served on nitro. Deep brown, black body with a small creamy faintly tan colored head. No lacing. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malts and light roasted coffee. Flavors are a touch of chocolate, creamy milk and coffee. Not as chocolaty as I was expecting, but an enjoyable beer nonetheless.
