I am sampling a cellar temp 12 oz can of this beer, purchased at the brewery over the summer while I was in PA. Can is date stamped 4/13/2022. WHoa! Not exactly fresh. But I suspect this will be just fine TBH.
Pouring the beer into my .5 L dimple mug. The beer pours a bright clear golden color with a fizzy bleached white head of about .5 cm. this foam quickly fades to a thin edge layer and not much else.
Aroma is some grainy malt and white bread with a little spicy hop character, but also faint phenolic notes sort of plasticy. Not a great sign.
First sip reveals a light body and fine tingly carbonation and smooth texture. Beer drinks very easy on physical traits.
Flavor is mild with some white bread and grainy note with a bit of a corn hush note. Unfortunately I also get some phenolic note on the flavor profile also.
Im not really enjoying this too much its extremely mild and the plasticy notes in the background sort of ruin the experience.
I wouldnt buy this again.
