A big thanks to the man who added this beer, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of blueberries, sweet, light pomegranate. Taste is blueberries, not at all sweet, some wheat zing, that same unusual aftertaste as the other two beers from this brewery that I tried. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

It gives me great pleasure to add a beer; take, submit & have a picture approved and be the first to review it. This is just one of four new beers recently being CANned by The Brewery at Hershey and all of them will become a part of The CANQuest ™.
From the CAN: “Store Cold*Drink Fresh*Please Recycle”; “American Wheat Ale with Natural and Artificial Blueberry and Pomegranate Flavors”.
I Crack!ed the vent open, but when I got some mild foaming, I decided to allow it some settling time. It turned out to be a brimful craft CAN & so I poured with a very gentle Glug. This may have had an inverse effect since it evinced wonderful clarity in a Wheat Ale. I left some in the CAN for a final pour, but I am happy with/about clarity in my beer. An in-glass swirl raised two-plus fingersof foamy, soapy, rocky, eggshell-white head with modest retention, quickly reverting to wisps. Color was Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7) with NE-quality clarity, prompting a visit from The Gelt Gang of Midas, Croesus & Mammon. Nose was more blueberry than pomegranate, but there was definitely more to it than simply blueberry. Mouthfeel was kind of thin & light, not watery, but not much past it either. The taste had the tang of wheat to cut through the sweetness of the blueberry, but it was still pretty sweet for my taste. It had an artificial flavor to it, not of fresh blueberries, but more like CANdy. Think lollipops, for instance. The wheat gave it an almost blueberry pancake-like flavor, but it was obvious that the flavors were not from actual fruit. Finish was semi-sweet, bordering on semi-dry. It was okay, but one was enough. And next, the final pour: MUCH cloudier! Nose was a little more pronounced in terms of its wheat-sharpness/tartness. Mouthfeel slightly fuller. Taste remained virtually unchanged. I prefer the clarity.

Cloudy gold yellow in color. Small white head. Sweet pomagrante to start a hint of blueberry at the finish. Nice draft on a hot day.
