Nothing too bad here Better than Molson Canadian and on par with Granville lager this is a beer that sits at the sub $8 six packs I would rather buy this than Cariboo but given the price I would go with something from Bowen island. The finish is thankfully clean and hops do show up in the mid body

355ml can poured into tulip 15/12/13

A clear golden orange with plenty of bubbles and a massive three finger foam even after a gentle pour, great retention, couple random patches of lace on the way down, looks pretty good

S sour mushy apple, sweet grains, brown sugar, wet grass clippings and just a faint chemical aspect I often find in macros

T more of the same really, a little toffee and less sour apple, there's some faint grassy hops in there, pretty basic but drinkable

M thin. a little flat much to my surprise after looking at it, cracker and brown sugar on the finish

O I thought this one would be worse, I'm not saying its good but for a cheap 6 pack its OK

I doubt I'd bother again but considering the price I could see this selling well, don't go out of your way or spend more the 8$ on a 6er

355ml can, part of a rather obfuscated in origin six-pack. Turns out this is made by Granville Island (and thus ultimately Molson-Coors), for some pretty shy on the marketing front contract brewer.

This beer pours a crystal clear, pale golden amber colour, with three hefty fingers of puffy, moderately foamy eggshell white head, which leaves a bit of ocean spray lace around the glass as it quickly bleeds away.

It smells of semi-sweet pale malt and corn grist alike, pandering dry apple and cheap raisin fruitiness, a hint of standalone acetone (yeah), and earthy, deaf leaf hops. The taste is plain, gritty corn husk malt, a hint of the biscuity pale malt that might have been, a now mostly AWOL fruit contingent, and bland earthy, weedy hops.

The bubbles are fairly innocuous for the most part, and duly supportive, the body medium-light in weight, and smooth in a certain sort of, um, Canadian way. It finishes off-dry, the generic malt providing that generic sweet aftertaste, one that is only vanquished by another hefty glug. Ha!

Another plain-ass lager from the school of Molson, filtered through their craft brewery cum lapdog underlings, it would seem. Looks like Island Lager, tastes like a combination of that and Molson Canadian. Not terrible, but pretty blah, with its best attribute being a price-tag that justifies its stature above the Lucky and Minhas offerings of our world.
