High fermentation hoppy and hazy blond beer.
A very tropical IPA with a strong and juicy bitterness that characterizes the style of the New England IPAs. This beer will please the hoppy beer fans.

From a 16oz can, dated 10/22/21. Purchased at the brewery 02/11/22. So, not exactly super fresh, eh? Served in an IPA glass.
Pours a hazy, dull orange with a finger-plus of white foam. Under 10 seconds of retention and a thin sheet of fizzy lacing.
Grainy and crackery with zippo for hop character on the nose. A little soapy odor, which might be my glass, but also it might not be.
Taste is malty, crackery, decently bitter, not quite as harsh and grainy as I’d expected from the nose. Crackery with orange rind, orange oil and grapefruit. A slight sour/lactic aftertaste which is odd but which blessedly doesn’t linger.
Feel is bright and quenching, medium-light bodied with zippy, vigorous carbonation. Oily tingle building on the tongue.
Overall, it probably wasn’t fair to rate a four month old NEIPA but oth there probably shouldn’t have been four month old NEIPAs for sale at the actual brewery. As it happened, it turned out to be a decent enough beer. I might not seek it out but I wouldn’t turn my nose up if one were put in front of me.
