Clear sunflower oil yellow with a surprisingly thick and frothy off white head.
Mostly bready ,hay like malt aromas..bit of citrus hop. Pleasing.
Fresh clean semi hoppy taste well balanced with bread like malts and with a touch of hop bitterness in the end.
Nice clean mouth feel.
Very nice light ,simple drinkable beer.

A: The beer is rather hazy hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short off white head that has good retention properties and consistently left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a collar around the edge of the glass, and lots of lacing down the sides.
S: Light aromas of biscuit and pale malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but has additional notes of lemongrass and lemon peels.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite easy to drink. The addition of lemongrass and lemon peel keeps it from being bland.

Pale gold color. No head, and beer looks flat. Somewhat cloudy. The aroma reminds me of lemongrass tea. Citrus, herbal notes, and light malt. The flavor isn't too bad, once again, I feel like I am drinking iced tea with lemon. Light bodied, low carbonation. Watery mouthfeel, and a nice lemon aftertaste.

On tap at the brewery taproom.
Look: pale golden body with a good white head that leaves patterned lacing.
Light malty aroma; quite a bit more hops in the flavor but very mildly bitter.

Refreshing no doubt. Sessionable for sure. I'd recommend this beer to lovers of lemon, otherwise it's probably one to avoid. The problem is that the lemon essence sort of crosses over to a 'soapy' character, and you're left with a not too pleasant aftertaste. Hmmm. Too bad - I love the brewery, their beers are top notch, and the service/ wait-staff is phenomenal - but this summer offering will not cross my palate again.

Lemongrass and lemon peel used in the boil, makes for a light refreshing blonde ale with more complexity than average. Hops are bright and prominent in aroma and flavor without excessive bitterness.

Appearance: Pours a yellow straw with a small white head that recedes fairly quickly. Body has nice clarity. Small amount of lacing from the head that dissolves after a minute.

Aroma: Bits of bread and straw from the malt and yeast. Hops give way to citrus lemon and grass.

Taste: A nice balance between the malt and hops. Hits the back of the tongue with bread/grass taste and then a bit of citrus zest from the hops. Finish is quick and mildly bitter.

Mouthfeel: Starts watery on tip of tongue, finishes with a light creamy almost buttery sensation. carbonation is medium to soft. Pleasant.

Overall: I think this could be a very nice warm weather beer. Very session-able with nice balance between the citrusy grassy hops and the malt. I think if this came in a six pack instead of a 22oz bottle I would be much more inclined to keep in the fridge. Overall it was enjoyable but not worth seeking out. I wouldn't think twice if it were offered to me though. Probably my least favorite offering from Sunriver.
