A: Gorgeous bright golden haze; looks like fruit juice. Minimal head and lacing.

S: Very juicy nose of citrus and tropical fruit; pineapple; peach; apricot; orange; stone fruit; just a hint of an earthy bitterness.

T: More of the same on the palate, one of the most juice-like beers I've ever had; tastes like pulpy fresh OJ with some fresh peach and pineapple and that impression of herbal bitterness that doesn't bring balance but showcases a bit of complexity.

MF: Smooth, creamy, with a slight dryness on the finish.

O: A very impressive hazy & juicy IPA from Sunriver; very bright in aroma and flavors with lots of citrus, stone fruit, and tropical fruit. Highly recommended.

 

its rare that i want fruit in my hazy ipa, if they are good, most of the time they are plenty fruity on their own, but these guys did a nice job of this, and i happy sucked down a pint this afternoon with great joy. its a real hazy yellow beer, looks like pineapple juice from the can, and does have a bit of sediment visible in it, not as cleaned up as i like these to be, but it doesnt slow me down much. the aroma and flavor are excellent, very southern hemisphere on the hops, with strong notes of melon, kiwi fruit, and meyer lemon, which work super well with the added passion fruit, tangerine, and guava. the hops are way ahead of the fruit, but the match is evident. i love this hop profile too, citra i think, something from australia and new zealand, and also something unfamiliar, id love to know more. lemongrass, green grape, and rainbow sherbet to finish, but this is somehow not sweet at all, and there is a nice resinous linger to the hops, hardly any bitterness either. its fuller bodied, a little raw, wheaty for sure, and smooth to drink on. enough carbonation that it never gets heavy, and it warms up really well. no over hopped character at all, and just a cool summery ipa here. one of the more modern and on trend beers i have had from these guys, a touch filling, but very good overall.

Nice and thick and hazy.. pulpy pineapple juice..with a small white head.
Fruity,juicy and citrus aromas.
Taste see but more pineapple it seems .makes it more acidic.. which is welcome to cut the sweetness
