IPA Factory 2019-04. Open some smiles with a hazy IPA that is dripping with juicy hop flavor. We blend two of our favorite orange-citrus forward hops with a Yakima grown experimental variety to give this beer a distinct freshly squeezed OJ character. HOPS: Amarillo, Mandarina Bavaria, X06297. 40 IBU.

And it's exactly that. Some pulp removed, with some extra bitterness, Sunny D looks, smells, tastes and almost feels just like a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, bursting with citrus from start to finish. With a splash of pine that would make any hop head smile, Sunny D has a big hop bite in a refreshingly crisp feel that's anything but indicative to the style.
Cheers.

Lovely beer - I'm not necessarily getting Sunny D flavor in particular (lol), but on taste I get a nice zippy orange juice/zest and, strangely and delightfully, a mildly spicy note not unlike licorice root or clove. I don't have a great sense of smell and fully admit this leads to me tasting something that might just be in my imagination, but am curious if others who have tried get anything similar. Appearance-wise it's on point for a hazy IPA - nearly opaque, lovely golden light orange color with a moderate head, and no traces of yeast, grains, or other particulates I can detect.
