Light straw look. Faint, lightly toasted malt and some bit of herbal/floral hop aroma. Sharp, medicinal, herbal hop bite, followed by a quite subtle, lightly toasted barley malt, for the taste. Finish is a bit sharp.

Poured from the can into a standard pint.

A: light straw in color with a stark white 1 inch head of loose bubbles mixed with a layer of tight bubbles. Head drops to a 1mm thick wispy layer of large and small bubbles too.

S: classic and gentle. some faint light malt notes and mild herbal hops. Could use some more oomph...

T: Light herbal hops and that unripe blackberry/huckleberry/blueberry that all real pilsners give me.

M: stays relatively light with that underripe berry adding some dryness then some mid palate fizz then a medium-dry ultimate finish. No chalkiness or other shenanigans.

O: I'd drink it again. Solid.

12 oz. can found in the back of my fridge. No idea how lone. Maybe 3 months.
Well pours a nice enough golden coloured body with a clingy/lacy off-white head.
Aroma is nicely malty. Traditional style with a lovely floral hop quality.
Taste is similar to the aroma, but the malts seem very much to have the upper hand.
Mouth feel is pretty well balanced and not too sticky in the end.
Nice enough pils but doesn't stand out up here.

Look: Pours a nearly clear light yellow with a frothy white head that slowly settles to a lid, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Pilsner malt, cut grass, flowers, honey, and soda crackers
Taste: Honey-sweetened crackers start things off as a bouquet of floral notes trickle in along with some grass. Pilsner malt sustains the middle and closes with floral hops, honey, and crackers
Mouthfeel: Light but full, medium-high carbonation, and light dryness evident on the finish
Overall: This is tasty stuff. I am a Sunriver Brewing fan but honestly, wasn’t expecting this beer to be as good as it is since I don’t believe I’ve had or seen another lager style brewed by them – only ales. Really delicious malt and hops flavor/aromas throughout and very authentic tasting as well. Kudos to SR for making this winner

a flavorful new pils from these guys, a great addition to their hop heavy lineup, at least what i know of it, seems like all hops except for their hefe, so i was excited to see this. its definitely on the more robust side of the style spectrum, fuller bodied, a ton of character from the grain, and well hoppy too, dry and bubbly and refreshing sure, but not one of those super minimal examples of the style. the grain is lightly nutty, still real pale and light and with some european dustiness to it, but also fresh and more prominent than it can often be in these. the hops are definitely noble-esque here, grassy with a little spicy bite as the finishing bitterness sets in. sudsy in feel, frothy and slightly rich while staying dry, some minerals are present and there is just a little weight to it, still refreshing and plenty drinkable, but it warms up big and to me drinks best when its good and frosty. lots and lots of bubbles are appreciated, the hops seem majorly fresh, and the lager yeast contributes quite a bit as well. good balance overall and a professionally executed brew. i am sure this will be a hit for them.
