Bottle received in Bif 13 from @colts9016, poured into a snifter, pencil thin brown foam cap quickly evaporated to a ring over a dark cola liquid
Aroma is cinnamon, peppery spice, bourbon, coffee, mocha
Taste is bourbon , not much, coffee, nicely roasted malts, no char, peppers, chocolate
Fizzy sudsing , Peppery finish costs the tongue and the back of the throat
Good beer, really interesting rotation of flavors . The light bourbon taste first but no alcohol burn, the roast melts , coffee and a peppery finish

Fresh 500ml bottling split into glasses; pours dark brown/black with a small mocha head that fades quickly to nothing. Barrel, sweetness, and present spicing is apparent on the nose, roasted and malty and coffee presence are all there. Moderate sweetness competes with that mild but present spicing, cinnamon is apparent and so is that pepper heat. Bourbon character is nice and blends well with vanilla and creamy coffee notes underneath. Medium-to-full bodied, alcohol is fairly subdued. Overall this is pretty delicious.
