We originally produced this beer to celebrate the life of our friend Curt Plants, founding Brewmaster at Goodlife Brewing in Bend. This hazy IPA hits all the right hoppy spots – bright citrus, juicy tropical fruit and a hint of herbal dankness.

I bought at Sunriver brew building. It’s a hazy beer that rises above the normal ones out there. This golden hazy beer holds a good head through out the drink down sticking to your glass till the end. The beer tastes like its brewed with hops, pineapple rinds melon rind sweet lime and enough tannin to make it a wonderful beer for those liking Hazys or Regular IPA’s. I highly recommend this beer as I love it. The hop profile is Citra, Amarilla, El Dorado and Cashmere hops.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces beautifully.
S: Citrus, tropical and orchard fruit, subtle melon, a bit floral, slight grassy tones, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Zesty citrus, lime, tangerine/orange, and lemon, floral notes, tropical and orchard fruit, peach, apricot, pineapple, pear, watermelon, mango, and passion fruit, a touch grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: A buddy snagged a can of this for me on his trip to Bend. Probably not something I'd choose myself given the hop combo, but I actually quite enjoyed it. El Dorado can be overpoweringly sweet at times, but here it's well managed and adds nice complexity. Super solid and a worthy tribute.

Look: An orange smoothie in the glass with a nice-looking, soft white head that forms and holds, slowly receding to reveal good lacing left behind
Aroma: Mango, apricot, peach, blueberries, mandarins, raspberries, wafts of Cannabis, and some sweet bready malt
Taste: Starts off with apricot, mango, and mandarins and quickly joined by a nice punch of peach and sweet malt that quickly develop depth. Berries and a little dank work their way in and mingle some before mango returns for the close
Mouthfeel: Full, soft, medium-high carbonation, and a light astringency on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. Another tasty and different hazy from these folks that checks all the style boxes but with a unique tweener WC/NE IPA feel that I get from most of these Haze Factory beers. A nice tropical-fruit-led nose and taste that sets it apart from other Sunriver ones that I’ve had. Recommended

their innovation has been baller here, the new stuff has all been so good, and i would put this one up against darn near any hazy ipa around the boise area right now, its fresh, balanced, not green or bitey in the least, and distinctive on the hop side, cashmere driven it seems, but unique enough to stand out, i was stoked to find this on tap this afternoon and should have stayed for another pint. tangerine, melon, canned pineapple, meyer lemon, lemongrass, white grapefruit, green grape, and nectarine are all present in the hop profile to me, more in nose than taste, but not by much, fresh as can be top to bottom. the grain is ever so slightly more haze in look, and fuller and denser in body, than the flavors seem to want, i like what it brings, but its like a little too much of a good thing, my only critique and a very minor one at that. it pops with freshness, the hops still run in front, and there is balance so its far from one dimensional. clean and dry fermentation, fruit punchy as it warms on the hop side, dynamic and jovial and new, enthusiastic feeling to me even with the grain, and one of the better hoppy beers i have ever had from these guys, which is saying something because they really do no wrong. more modern than their staples, not forced either like a lot of new school hazy ones these days, just walking at its own pace. enjoyed this a lot, delicious pint, have one if you are lucky enough to see it around. these guys have been killing it this summer!

Pours a murky gold with 2 fingers of bubbly white head leaving plenty of sudsy lacing as you empty your glass. Smell is tropical fruit and bitter hops. Taste follows suit with tropical fruit, pineapple and citrus juice/pulp taking center stage and a bitter and dank hop profile following up. Feel is smooth and creamy. Good NEIPA, would drink again.

Pint at Westside Taphouse in West Salem OR.
$7.00
Pours a murky pale orange..with a small white head. Leaves copious lace though.
Nice fruity tropical aromas. Understated but well done.
Taste is similar. Fruity fresh and not over the top.
Good mouth feel. Well carbonated for the style.
At last a good hazy from one of my favorite brewers.
