Look: Pours a rich, amber-brown and doing so excites a lofty off-white head to rapidly form and settle to a pillow, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Freshly baked bread, lightly toasted crust, fruitiness, caramel, light floral notes, and wafts of herbal notes
Taste: Opens up with a floral and fruity hit that is quickly followed by waves of bready malt that develop depth as they unfold. Caramel and herbal notes are noticeable in the middle before the bready and fruity notes return to close it out
Mouthfeel: Full but light, clean, medium-high carbonation, and smooth and clean on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. I love this odd and hard-to-find style so when I saw that these folks had made one, I had to try it and it’s good. A tasty and well-made example with plenty of rich malt, some fruitiness, and that clean, smooth lager finish. Definitely worth the purchase and warrants a try if you see it
