This seasonal APA features freshly harvested Talus hops, provided to us by Doug Weathers at Sodbuster Farms in Salem, OR. Talus is a new variety and presents a complex bouquet. These wet wonders drop huge notes of pink grapefruit, rose blossoms, tropical fruit, pine resin, and desert sage.
Hops: Talus, Citra, Sabro

SUNRIVER BREWERY - DOUG SAID SO – FRESH HOP -PALE ALE 5.5abv
Here is a semi sweet citrus brew with a green apple flavor and low tannins which allows the citrus vegetable flavor to show. Even though I usually love Hazy brews this some tasty stuff which I could drink every day. I hardily recommend it.

Look: Copper in color and almost clear with a late-forming off-white head that settles to a lid and leaves great lacing behind as it does
Aroma: Pink and ruby-red grapefruit flesh and rind, lemon-lime, wafts of culinary sage, floral notes, and some bready malt
Taste: Whoa, this is trippy. Kicks off with a quick lemon-lime hit that is quickly followed by a more drawn out profile of light sage – think dusty/herbal/mint. Hybrid tea rose flowers, light honeysuckle, and cherry blossoms come on next and the grapefruit medley is the final chapter, showing p late but in a strong way and mingles with the floral, sage, and lemon-lime through to the close
Mouthfeel: Full, medium-high carbonation, clean, and clean and lightly soft on the finish
Overall: This is a tasty and unique beer. I’ve only had Talus hops one other time recently so was excited to try this new-to-me beer with wet Talus that my dad gifted me and it was definitely an experience. A cool combo of lemon-lime, pink/red grapefruit, sage, and flowers came across not only as tasty, but much different in profile than most pale ales out there, especially fresh hop ones. Delicious, fun to drink, and recommended

Taster at Hoptober Freshtival. Clear golden pour, small frothy white head. Hoppy aroma, earthy, fresh. Taste is a nicely rounded hop fest, bitter, crisp, mild maltiness

Pint at the Westside Taphouse in West Salem Oregon.
$7.00
Clear golden body with a small off white head. Leaving great lace down the glass.
Strong citrus and floral hop aromas. very very nice.
Taste is the same. Starts of sweet oranges , then moves to a more floral hop. Then a smooth bitterness in the end to round off the taste trip.
Mouth feel is really good. Medium to light body . Really nice carbonation.
An excellent lower Alc. FH.
