This bold double IPA exemplifies the style – clear and dry, with ample bitterness and an intense hop character. Utilizing the “Holy Trinity” of hops (Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic), Critical Few delivers a complex package of flavors. Expect pronounced notes of Blueberry Kush, Orange Crush, resinous evergreen, and mango nectar.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little light lacing.
S: Green resinous and herbal notes, spicy pine, some citrus, light floral notes, a little tropical and stone fruit, biscuity malt, and just a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: Citrus, lemon, orange, grapefruit, and a hint of lime, resinous pine, tropical and stone fruit, passion fruit, peach, apricot, blueberry, and mango, slight spicy herbal notes, a bit floral, biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness with a fairly dry finish.
M: Just a touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, super smooth for 8.6%.
O: A buddy snagged this one for me while he was up there for a work trip. I've gotta thank him again, this is fantastic. Basically everything you'd want in a Westy DIPA featuring the Holy Trinity.

Moderate amount of small bubbled, white head. Medium clear gold look. A good amount of spiced and candied grapefruit peel, with a little floral and them medium light toasted barley malt in the background, for the aroma. Solid amount of grapefruit peel flavor and bite, for most of the taste. Medium, bright mouth feel and off-dry, medium toast malt, in support of the hops.
