The Sunriver Wood Series can be counted on for an interesting flavor experience. This Applejack Brandy Quad is no exception. I don't get a huge Belgian nuance with this one (it's labeled as a Belgian style Quad)...but instead there is a flourish of brandy/old ale as it is enjoyably sipped.
Thankfully, not overly spicy (label states: "notes of holiday spice").
A very good sipper that (again) I could have believed was a brandy-barrel-aged old ale.
Just a hint of apple tartness. I've never had true 'applejack', so can't comment in that context.
