If you want to be successful in the brewing industry, you need to use your tools and systems. This banging West Coast IPA brings together some of our favorite hops – Simcoe Cryo from Sauve and Sons (Mabton, WA), Estate grown Chinook T90 and GGX from Crosby Hop Farms (Woodburn, OR) and Amarillo® T90 from Roy Farms (Moxee, WA). We topped this off with some super punchy Australian Galaxy T90 hops. When combined, these lupulin laden beauties provide dank-ish notes of sweet orange-evergreen, peppered tangerine, ruby red grapefruit, and candied peach.

Look: Pours a nearly clear medium orange with a fluffy white head that slowly settles to a pillow, leaving sheets of lacing behind
Aroma: Pine sap and needles, pink grapefruit, Cannabis, light peach, diesel, navel oranges, wafts of pineapple, and freshly baked bread
Taste: Opens up with an awesome, resinous hit of pine – needles, sap, wet cones, etc. – that is quickly joined by a wave of citrus. Orange, grapefruit, and kumquats all in play, along with a light peach and pineapple combo and these all interweave with the pine throughout, atop a bready malt base until it closes with a noticeable bite
Mouthfeel: Full, slick, medium-high carbonation, clean, and moderately dry on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. I love SR and what they do with hops so this was an easy score from the brewpub as a parting gift on my way home from vacation and it didn’t disappoint. A ton of Simcoe presence in it and the pine/citrus/stone fruit combo comes across well throughout, not to mention the West Coast feel, bite, and dry finish. Definitely worth checking out

Pours a clear darker gold colour with a lovely frothy off-white head. Great lace.
Hoppy aromas. Mostly citric and especially floral. Very inviting.
Taste medium bitter. Lychee, peach pit and marmalade oranges. Lovely.
Mouth feel is medium. Thicker on the tongue but never sticky.
Lovely drinking beer.

SUNRIVER BREWERY - TOOLS AND SYSTEMS 6.8 abv
I had this brew at the Sunriver Brewery in the Sunriver business park which is open on weekends. The Brew produced a big head and showed a golden color. This is a bigger beer than most Hazy’s with a peach rind, radish and watermelon rind flavors. The brew has an unusual hop profile of Citra , Azacca, Sultana, Hallertau and Citra Cryo Hops.
