Look: Medium orange and clear with a booming head that settles to a silky pillow and leaves great lacing behind
Aroma: I could smell it on the pour. Juicy tangerine, orange flesh and rind, ruby-red grapefruit, peach, some strawberry, and wet hop cones
Taste: Oh yeah. A plethora of super juicy and pithy citrus kicks down the door and storms in with orange, grapefruit, kumquats, tangerine, and some grassy fresh hop notes as well. Peaches and strawberry trickle in when the citrus tires but they regain steam on the close, which includes a nice bite
Mouthfeel: Full, slick, clean, medium-high carbonation, and clean on the finish with some light dryness
Overall: This beer is awesome, simply put. My first try and I’m a sucker for FH Citra beers and anything hoppy these folks make, so no surprise I dug it and thanks to my dad for the hookup. Lots of fresh hop character and a full-on Citra showcase throughout. A tasty treat and highly recommended
