Carefully aged for 12 months in 15-year Tennessee sour mash whiskey barrels, the results are breathtaking. The beer displays complex notes of vanilla, toffee, treacle, and leather, with a distinctly smooth, warming finish.

2024 brew, consumed (half bottle) in snifter Sept 2025. Luscious mouthfeel. Deep malt taste - sweet, but just enough. Delightful Whiskey notes are upfront, but nicely balanced with the ‘ale’ aspect (hops) of this brew…and then comes the strong whiskey wallop at the finish. Purchased (maybe a year ago), and then found lurking in my informal beer cellar a few days ago - no idea if it’s still available.
