Look: Chalky-looking yellow liquid pours from the can and quickly fills the glass, followed by a short-lived head
Aroma: Navel orange, pine, mango, pineapple, fruity Cannabis, kumquats, passionfruit, light peach, watermelon, and some malt
Taste: Opens up with some lovely watermelon that holds the stage along for a brief moment before being joined by layers of orange, peach, and mango. Pine interwoven with more citrus and fruity dank work in and develop as pineapple makes a showing as it winds down, where it culminates with a light but felt bite
Mouthfeel: Full, soft, smooth, pretty clean, nicely carbonated, and slick and soft on the finish, with a touch of dryness
Overall: This is some good stuff. Another treat from my dad and another Sunriver Hazy IPA that is delicious and well-made, with some WC aspects, which I always notice in these folks’ hazies. A nice blend of citrus and tropical fruit with some added pineapple, pine, and dank, not to mention the watermelon, which is a rare treat in hops, and this is one well-crafted and tasty offering. wonderful hazy here, these guys are really on it with the hoppy stuff, really all of their beer is good, it was rad to drink a bunch of them in the same hang, this was a standout of a nice lineup, anchovy hops in here make it exciting, but honestly so do the citra and mosaic products, cryo and dynaboost, and the galaxy adds a neat limey citrus southern hemisphere pop, amazing hop complexion overall, fresh, smooth, not too hazy and heavy as some of these are, and not oversaturated despite the potency, probably thanks to the hop products, i think outstanding overall. straw yellow colored and fairly hazy, short white head, but it drinks lighter than it looks. the nose on this is brimming with fresh punchy hop goodness, zested lime, muddled lemongrass and meyer lemon zest, orange hard candy, lots of citrus, but i get pineapple from mosaic and some herbal character from the anchovy thats quite unique, a varietal i am still getting a sense of, light coconut the way strata can sometimes do, a little grassiness, very clean to me, quick, soft, trace vanilla to me but this is on the dry side to drink, light starchiness from the grain but its mild, not grainy in the aroma, subtle yeast character, juicy, ripe, peachy as it warms. the flavor tracks with the nose, lots of fruit layers from canned crushed pineapple and its juice to potent lemon curd, white florals and sticky sativa buds also present, low bitterness, lightly green in a fresh way not an overdosed way, and with a fluffy wheaty feeling texture, high carbonation, and a finishing cleanness few of these hazy types possess, definitely easier drinking than expected, and really distinctive in terms of how the hops smell and taste but also how vibrant and forward they are, very well composed, modern, and unique, good use of hop products and pellets together, anchovy is cool in this, the galaxy adds a lot, and overall i came away very impressed. these guys have got it going on right now, wish i could find this one around boise...

Poured from 16oz can into a tulip. Canned 1/26/26.
Appearance: medium golden-yellow hue wtih plenty of haze and a cap of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: sweet malt with passionfruit, citrus zest, and maybe a little pineapple. It’s a nice mix, even if it’s not overly strong.
Taste: citrus peel with hints of pineapple, a moderate sweetness, and more bitterness than I normally expect out of a hazy. I do like hazies, so I like this, but it’s not perfect.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a decent carbonation and a nice creaminess.
Overall: while this beer is certainly not bad, it just kinda doesn’t wow me.

The beer comes across as light fruity and refreshing. There is a big citrus flavor with the citrus being mainly a pineapple flavor. The over all feeling is the brew is slightly sweet. The hops used are many being – Dynaboost, Quantum, Citra, Citra Cryo, Mosaic, Galaxy and Anchovy. I had it at Sunriver restaurant and brewery warehouse. It is wonderful and I love it. Highly recommended.
