dont think i realized this was a cold ipa when i had it, it was just branded west coast, but it makes sense i suppose, its tight and crisp and clean, could easily be cooler fermented, its light and refreshing for how flavorful it is, and for all the wonderful sunriver beer i drank in this session, i think this one was my single favorite, its just the absolute peak of what is possible in ipa right now, so smart, bright, intentional, and compelling on the hop side, these hops are positively lit, and they get the most out of them in this, very much on trend for west coast ipa right now, crazy pale and light on the grain side, a little lower bitterness, and straight up looks like a pils in the glass, yellow and no deeper, fizzy and high white headed, immaculately clear, radiant and pretty. peacharine and nelson driving this one i believe, i think nectaron in here too, insane aromatic on it, kiwi fruit, chardonnay grapes and the wine they yield, fresh green turf, ripe honeydew melon, actual peach flesh, lemomgrass, white florals, and the first warm day and spring when buds burst and the whole world comes awake, its really that powerful, unbelievable nose really, and the taste is right there too, sort of has that phantasm note, what ever happened to breweries using that? this is kind of high thiol like that. some definite pineapple, white life saver, green table grape, watermelon rind, and raw honeycomb, just epic. so high potency but not vegetal or harsh even a little bit, bitterness is tame, body is light but there is a little grain flavor in the middle, balanced enough by current standards, crackery but dry, and definitely with a lager-like rapidity at the end, glorious hop recall, what a profile! lively feeling beer, insanely easy drinking, almost addictingly unique, i cant get enough. i think without question the best ipa i have had so far in 2026, absolutely masterful. these freestyle hops are fire!

I had this at the Sunriver breweries restraint in Sunriver. The beer comes across as very well made and a refreshingly citrus flavored brew. There is a mix of citrus and fruit flavors with apple cinder and pineapple being the most prominent. The brew has a refreshing hint of tartness which goes well with the fruit flavors present. Hops used are: Nectaron, Citra, Dynaboost, Nelson Sauvin, Peacharime, El Dorado, Nelson and Kief. Many from New Zealand.
I would rate the beer as excellent and highly recommend.
