I've all but given up drinking lagers as Covid removed my sense of smell and that contributes to my not tasting some of the more subtle flavors. But an imperial Pilsner? I'll give that a try!
Poured transparent honey amber color and sported a half inch near white head. Looks like a beer!
The taste featured the elements I like in pilsners, a bit of biscuit or cracker taste followed by a floral (from the hops?) essence. There was just a hint of hoppy bite.
The feel is very nice, just what you might want on a hot summer day. Made it way too easy to drink quickly though!
OA, if this is on tap next time I intend to be there a couple hours I am getting it again. It's a very tasty, not subtle, pilsner.
