A zesty, well-rounded IPA bursting with the fruity, tropical goodness of Mosaic hops.

West coast IPAs tend to be dank and biting, east coast soft and fruity. And hazy.
Larry Bell may have invented the mid-west (or in this case, American) IPA and brewers have been trying to recreate it with their own slant on it for years. Gravel Bottom is no exception.
Transparent and golden in appearance, and the near white head leaves sheets of lacing.
The taste is all Mosaic with its flower power and tropical fruit balanced nearly evenly with malty goodness. So not east or west, right down the middle.
Feel is slick, I was perplexed, but it grew on me.
OA, give it a try if you’re in the neighborhood.
