My favourite of the 3 barrel variants. I thought the rye shone through well here, all the way to the backend where there is a spicy warmth underlying the sweet toffee and caramel notes of the base barleywine. In my opinion, the base barleywine shone the best here, perhaps complementary with the rye. It's a good, smooth medium body, caramel and earth accompanied by spicy rye on the finish.
