16oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 11.99/ 4 pack. Canned 7/21/18. Served in a Cherry Street snifter. Enjoyed 8/6/18.
Pours a clear pale gold with a finger and a half cap of white head. Little retention.
Aromas of bread, cracker, dried grass and vague pepper-like spice.
Tastes of cracker, pepper, another spice I think might be coriander, some vague lemon and a bready sweetness, almost like a cream ale.
Crisp, light feel with zippy carbonation. Clean finish of bread, spice, old lemon rind.
A pilsner from Cherry Street is a bit of a departure from their offerings I typically go for but I’m always on the lookout for another easy drinking pils. Ta Ta Pilsner is straight forward and indeed easy to knock back. Crisp and bready with just enough layers to keep it interesting.
