16 ounce can - $4.79 at Sprayberry Bottle Shop in Marietta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a well hazed, dimmed orange-gold body with a smallish, off-white head.
Smell: Relatively light but distinguishable notes of strawberries and pineapple, a small spoonful of marmalade and gloopy marshmallow fluff.
Taste: Sweet, a tad sugary in the fore, with marshmallow schmeared atop a bready, cookie-ish maltiness. Ladle of fruit salad, more of that strident marshmallow-esque ooze. Beneath it, some of hop character and slight bitterness as well as some warming alcohol accents. Fairly sweet and fruity on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Milkshake IPA. This is really a thing, folks.

16oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 15.99/ 4 pack. Canned 2/18/19. Served in a Cherry Street snifter. Enjoyed 2/27/19.
Pours an opaque, muted pale orange with a short but dense cap of white froth. Once the head settles there are only a few scattered dots of lace and no other retention.
Smells of vague fruit cocktail, cookie, vanilla cream and some complementary floral hop notes.
Flavors of orange peel, tropical fruit smoothie, pepper, butter cookie, faint mallow and a kiss of graham cracker.
Smooth, fluffy feel with gently tingling carbonation. Citrus, tropical hop shortbread and caramel cream.
Cherry Street tosses their hat into the increasingly popular milkshake IPA market. Not As Advertised does exactly what the best of the style should by adeptly blending the hops and fruit then placing them on a soft, smooth, sweet base. Yet another example of why I’m always comfortable grabbing a fresh 4 pack of any new Cherry Street IPA I come across.
