Appearance: Served up a deep brown body with some golden-amber tints at the edges. Slim, off-white head.
Smell: Staunchly toasty, a slim sliver of roasted malt. Slight barrel char, some sweetish notes fo brown sugar and a couple chocolate chips. A little tartish fruitiness, cherry-leaning.
Taste: Sweet satisfying maltiness, a choco-roast-toast combination backing by caramel and the brownest of sugars. Little spikes and blips of fruit, vanilla and warming alcohol. Remains sweet, nigh glossy through the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-light carbonation.
Overall: A soundly, roundly malty, beefy brown on the higher end of the ABV scale without shooting needlessly into the 'imperialized' 10%+ stratosphere.
