I'm not an IPA-guy, but damn, I do appreciate a good one when I come across it - and this is one damned, good one...
Beautiful hazy look, a bright orange hue with frothy head. The smell is about as damn near perfect as any beer I have had the pleasure of sniffing - a perfect balance of tangerines and hop bitterness, all rolled into one and dancing within one's nostrils. Mouthfeel starts of with a light touch of creaminess and then moves from medium-bodied to light-bodied as it warms - a very good experience. The taste is bitter and sweet, and also balanced superbly. Overall, it's a damn fine beer and this one reminds me why I like to try just about anything. You just never know until you crack open that can or bottle what you are truly going to experience.
