A collaboration between Cherry Street and Bold Monk Brewing. Made with Weyermann Bavarian Malt (a 1924 Heirloom variety), German Hallertau, American Centennial Hops, and Munich Lager Yeast. Expect rich malty notes fresh baked bread and a balanced hop character using both the traditional German Noble Hopa and American West Coast varieties.

Appearance: Slightly hazy amber. Frothy white head with good retention.

Aroma: Spicy and earthy with hint of tropical fruit. Bready malt.

Flavor: Malt forward. Semi-sweet. Restrained bitterness. Accented by spicy, herbal and tropical fruit hop notes.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Not astringent. Moderate length finish. Crips and clean.

Overall: This was a nice surprise. The two hops play well together. The beer is well balanced, not being too sweet nor to dry. It leans to lighter bodied, but that's a good thing because this is a solid session beer. Pleasing aroma and flavor. I really liked this beer a lot.
