Appearance: Slightly hazy amber. Frothy white head with good retention.
Aroma: Spicy and earthy with hint of tropical fruit. Bready malt.
Flavor: Malt forward. Semi-sweet. Restrained bitterness. Accented by spicy, herbal and tropical fruit hop notes.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Not astringent. Moderate length finish. Crips and clean.
Overall: This was a nice surprise. The two hops play well together. The beer is well balanced, not being too sweet nor to dry. It leans to lighter bodied, but that's a good thing because this is a solid session beer. Pleasing aroma and flavor. I really liked this beer a lot.
