Not too dark with just enough color, don’t let this beer fool you. Despite the color, Jedi is actually quite light with a hint of malti- sweetness lingering from the Scottish Yeast. We de signed this beer after the more robust Reds in Ireland.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The appearance is a reddish brown with a small white head. The aroma is malt and maybe sorghum. The taste is a very smooth malt flavor. A very easy drinking session beer.

Appearance: Darkened red, russet-toned body, fairly clear, with a white head.
Smell: Mild, malty accents of pecan, light roast, breadcrusts, with a hint of burned caramel, which doesn't quite carryover into the taste. Very low hop notes, very low estery touches.
Taste: Well-toasted nuttiness and notes of charred breadcrust forward, with a very low hint of sweetness. Faintly estery, giving little hints of golden raisin, apple. Scantly herbal hops, mildly bitter. Drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: While sufficient, I would’ve greatly appreciated a skosh more caramel, toffee-like sweetness.

Counter Pressure filled growler poured into a Cherry Street tuliped pint. You know hashtagproperglassware and all.
Full disclosure -- I'm by no means an Irish Red connoisseur.
A - Deep amber with ruby tints. Off white head. Not much lacing though that may be user error.
S - Roasted nut, caramel hint of dark fruit esters and virtually no hop character.
T - Light caramel malt and roasted characteristic. Light earthy hops. Quickly fading.
M - Very drying finish. Hits clean and smooth characteristics to a T.
O - After reviewing I took a look at some style guidelines and it looks like the Cherry Street guys nailed another brew dead on to style. This is an awesome, refreshing and sessionable brew I could easily see myself having a few pints of over some good conversation.
