Dark brown in color, Off white head. Not much aroma, but a bit sweet. Taste has a strong flavor of butterscotch, seems to be major diacetyl. Not good, assuming a flaw. Medium body.

From a bottle, pours a dark brown with ruby hues. The head is off white, wispy and thin.
The nose is a disaster. Trash and butterscotch mixed with heavy cream. The smell has some dark malt and a little toffee but so much butterscotch.
The flavor is about as bad as the nose, just slightly better. Dark malt, a little toffee, stale caramel, and an unhealthy amount of butterscotch. The finish is thick and unappetizing.
Honestly, this is like bad home brew and I am confused by the decent ratings. Bad bottle?
