The Bee Hive Brew Pub

This is a great place for the craft beer lover!!! 32 draft lines with 29 dedicated to craft beers. Always rotating selection and features some hard to find and highly rated beers. Knowledgeable staff and great food.

 

 

NOT a brewpub. They do not brew any beers. There IS a brewery in the same building though, "Twisted Rail Brewing Co." Their beers were fair and there were 6 to choose from, none of which were being served at the Bee Hive.

I would certainly stop again since the beer selection includes Dogfish Head, Founders, Stone and several local favorites.

New brew pub off of Main St in Canandaigua. Their house brews, made by Twisted Rail, weren't available yet when I visited, but I've heard good things about them. I tasted their house beer made by CB's, Bee Hoppy, and it was one of the tastiest IPAs CB's has put out. Also got Wachusett Larry, very nice. Place seems to be a big proponent of local beers, always nice. Tons of Naked Dove on tap, as would be expected for a beer bar in this town. Good selection of Bell's , Ithaca, and Southern Tier as well. A few Stones too.

Food was tasty, and at a good price. Typical brewpub fare, but well done on that front. Lots of great sauces for the wings, enjoyed them very much.
