Pours a black color. 5/4 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong fresh coffee, hint of toffee, slight sweet malt, and slight roasted malt. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of fresh coffee, hint of toffee, slight sweet malt, and slight roasted malt. Overall, good appearance, aroma, feel, but the body was a little muted compared to the aroma.

Had this on draft at the Mellow Mushroom in Rogers, AR
Pours ebony with 2 fingers of tan head. Nice head retention & pretty good lacing
Strong Coffee notes, a little cocoa as well
Nice coffee notes throughout, finishes dry
Medium body, slightly over-gassed
Drinks easy, would drink it again

Draft, pint glass
Nitro Pour
A – Black with some hints of brown. A thick, creamy light brown foam stand with long retention.
S – Cold pressed coffee of a light-medium roast, with some vanilla and mildly bitter chocolate. Stone fruit, dried plums or cherries, seem to linger in the background.
T – Exactly the same as the aroma, for the most part. Coffee with light chocolate and vanilla, and a lot of fruitiness following behind. Some herbal or floral hops, with some pine notes on the finish.
M – Silky, velvety, roastiness of the coffee offsetting residual sweetness and moderately hop-bitter. Full bodied with low carbonation. Some acidity on the finish and aftertaste.
O – A solid coffee stout that is an excellent drink for after dinner (or for breakfast). Not particularly memorable, but good.
