An excellent rendition of a Scotch Wee Heavy. I've just recently been getting into the style, and this is one of the better ones I've had this far. It's a ruby/woody brown color, like stained wood. Very little head to speak of, but what's there is a creamy off white to tan. It smells of dark fruits with a woody/oaky hint at the end. The taste follows. Prunes and other such dark, syrupy fruits, followed by an oaky finish with just a tinge of alcohol that's becomes more intense as it warms, giving it a nice aged flavor. Overall, a solid A. Better than Founder's Dirty Bastard.
