Nice brown color and beige head. Came in a 16 oz can straight from the brewery.
Toasted oats and some molasses
Some cereal, toast, chocolate, light sugar and a bit of hop bitterness.
Very easy to drink but this batch seems a bit flat and lacks carbonation.
I'll try another batch I remember this as being much better.

A:
Pours crystal clear ruby-brown-amber with a big, light, beige head that evaporates to a scummy film. Okay retention; some lacing. (3.5)
S:
Chocolate, molasses. Toasted coffee, cocoa, nutmeg, hard water. (3.5)
T:
Nutty mineral water. Nuts, bolts, some black tea, some vague coffee. (3.25)
M:
Crispish, bubbly, thin/light bodied, not much of a finish. (3)
O:
Okay beer, but I wouldn't go much beyond that.
It is light and easy to drink, some flavor and aroma, but pretty straight forward, a little metallic, a little...something. Good for macro lovers wanting a bridge, perhaps; good to turn-on a party full of people who aren't into craft, maybe. Not bad, but not good, either.
Would have if offered for free; but it is defintely pretty expensive for what you are getting compared to other QC beers or even other Browns/porters. (3.25)
