Appearance - this beer pours jet black no light gets through at all, it poured with 1 finger of off white bubbly head which has no faded leaving less than a quarter finger. Cabonation seems moderate!
Aroma - Rich coffee beans, bitter dark chocolate and a light smell of sweet molasses followed by roasted nuts, roasted grain and burnt toast. The truth is I could do without burnt toast in my beer but oh well it's still decent smelling.
Taste - Coffee and roasted nuts dominate the front of the flavor profile.this is followed up by that molasses sweetness but very lightly it just sweeps over the tongue then its gone. finishing off with burnt toast. The chocolate is gone completely in the taste profile... funny how things like that happen.
Feel - light bodied with spritzy carbonation this beer feels like it would fit right in with the refreshing summer beers. Lots of flavors offering up bitterness but all extremely light leaving flavor but its not extremely sweet or bitter.
Overall - its almost so balanced if your tongue didnt tell you you were tasting something you would think it was flavor neutral. I'm sure some macro lovers would enjoy this and yet because the porter flavors are there people who enjoy porters above all else may enjoy it. To my palate its just too mediocre. It doesnt make me want to come back and try it again. Definitely worth a try once but meh.

Dark brown in color with red hues under light and a really really thin off-white head. Smell of roasted malts, espresso and chocolate. In the mouth you still get the roasted malts and the espresso flavors. You also get the chocolate flavors but it's way off, it's too sweet. I don't really know how to explain it but there's definitely something I don't like about the taste.
