I love it when the name matches the beer. Easy to understand why this is Claim 52’s most popular beer.

Solid, with a classic NEIPA hop bill.

Fluffy pours opaque yellow. White-washed with a bone white and extra frothy head that has moderate lacing.
It smells like vanilla yogurt and citrus rind.
It tastes like vanilla yogurt and citrus rind. Slightly dirty on the end with a mild piney finish.
A soft creamy feel at first is met with a smooth bitter finish. I'd say that this is overall pretty balanced.
A good NE styled IPA, but not one I will be seeking out again. Cheers.

Nice unfiltered NE style IPA with nice Oregon hops. Great mouthfeel and aroma.

S: Pungent citrus rinds. Perfum-y orange. Tropical fruit cocktail. Slight bubblegum. A hint of pineapple. Grass.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
T: Light orange. Guava. Lemon zest. Some grainy notes surface after a while. Intermittent fusel alcohol once the brew warms up. Lingering sweetness.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
M: Light-bodied. Creamy initial mouthfeel. Lively, almost prickly carbonation.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
O: I've been comparing some of my recent evaluations of beers towards what others have established as the norm score and realized mine have skewed favorably when it comes to anything with a lot of hops, because well, I've been drinking stale/shitty hops for the past 32 months. I did have a lot of hope and expectations for this one, mostly because of the name and the awesome can design, I feel Fluffy does just enough to establish itself as an amazing local option, but comes a little short when going head-to-head with the big guys. Claim 52 definitely nailed the high-hops low-bitter aspect of what people expect from a Northeast-style IPA, and the hops expression profile is pretty straightforward. I'm assuming they tried to establish the "light and fluffy" character of the beer as the x-factor, which is swell but doesn't quite add enough impact to set it apart from its peers.
That being said, I would still buy a 4-pack of this any day if I saw it being sold on a shelf in my local bottle shop.

Shaker pint from a 32 oz growler purchased from Growl Movement in Salem. basically free with my 5 star points. Pours a slightly hazed bright yellow body with an attractive thick and creamy white head. Aroma is very hoppy, more herbal and resin with the slight touch of lemon zest, malts very minor what there is is biscuit. Taste us way more fruity hop ( how do they do that?). Lemon zest , Orange creme soda, peach and bready malts. Delicious. Mouthfeel is really thick and smooth very easy to drink. Excellent. A really fine smooth IPA..would easily drink this again
