16oz can. Pale golden pour, white fluffy head, lively carbonation. Aroma is grainy, bready, sweet. Taste is smooth and grainy, biscuity, hay, light zippy finish. Super tasty.

Not gonna lie, this is as almost as perfect looking a Kölsch as it gets. Except for the few little floaties swimming around in there, it is perfectly clear, straw to golden yellow, with unending streams of bubbles rushing upward to support a foamy bone white pillow top above. It laces well, but a little spotty.

The aroma, however, is a bit lacking. More of a pissy, even kind of corn sugary kind of sweetness rather than an ultra fresh bread crumbs sweetness. The touch of fresh cut grass and floral hop splash at the end seems just right though.

It comes slightly back on track with a handful of breadcrumbs to support the ground cornmeal. A hint of rice and dried flowers are nice.

This is very light and crisp overall, yet there is a minimal slickness to it as well. Medium carbonation, and no where near as "spritzy" as expected, along with very low bitterness.

Not gonna lie, this seems more to me like an AAL. Albeit, a great AAL. It's missing some of the main components that make a Kölsch, a Kölsch. Is it good? Yes. Will I drink it again? Yes! Will I buy it when I am craving a Kölsch? Absolutely not. Prost...ish!

I had this one on tap at the Tap & Growler in Eugene.

Served on a pilsner style glass, the beer is a chill hazed gold with sticky off white head.

It has a nose of grains, apple peel and a touch of pear.

The taste is grainy with a slightly sour finish. There are some floral hops and a bit of pear mid glass.

Mouth is medium, could use a touch more carbonation.

I would have another!

Served on tap into a shaker glass

A- Poured a hazy bright golden color with white soapy head that left no lace.

S- Fresh lemon grass, citrusy hops, minty and herbal notes. Very clean aroma.

T- Big lemon grass, pilsner malt, bready, and packaging tape flavor. Finishes with a big herbal, minty, and citrusy hop character. Moderate bitterness on the finish.

M- Soft carbonation, dry, smooth, and light bodied.

O- A really nice beer with bigger hop character than I would expect for a Kolsch. Very fresh and clean tasting with a nice minty and herbal note that was unique.
