Brewed with Fresh-pressed Florida Sugar Cane, this DIPA is a nice balance between malty, hoppy, and dry with a perceived sweetness and mouthfeel!

Very unique beer. Classified as a DIPA, it’s got some sour to it. If it’s really retired, maybe this is just an aged keg.
On tap In a tulip at The Mansion, Melbourne, FL
L: very well done light amber. Very little head. Persistent lacing.
S: fairly weak but pleasant. No good. A little funk.
T: very far from a pure DIPA. Have to search for the hops but they are findable. Actually now I notice them immediately upon sipping, but they vanish within 2 seconds. Sweetness is closer to the surface; it could be either malt or cane. It’s most pronounced before swallowing the sip. But honestly, the aftertaste is the sourness of a Crooked Stave IPA. I really like it, but I’d be super disappointed if I wanted a pure DIPA.
F: on palette not much. The after effect is definitely like that of a hoppier beer or a sour.
O: my biggest concern with this review is that the line was contaminated. I thought I knew this beer, but I didn’t. As I alluded to, if you know Crooked Stave, you could be fooled this is one of theirs. If you appreciate a strong but astringent sour, and I got an accurate pour, this is really good.

Pours a nice rich copper color some sediment from can conditioning I guess nice fluffy two finger tan head falls to ringed scum with gobs of lace. Good looking beer.
Aroma is bready with light sugars, kind of smells like the sugar cane I was chewing on with my Mijitos on my Florida trip. Hops are defiantly subdued by the big sweet malt backdrop. Get deep but faint citrus rind notes, aged tobacco notes and pine hints. Actually smells good but not what I think something labeled a double IPA should smell like.
Taste is like the nose big sweet malt base almost an old ale flavor, Defiantly enough hops to keep it from being cloying. Deep citrus rind bite, tobacco notes a deep dankness making it seem an aged I2PA or an old ale. Some sprinkling of pine needles in the finish. Also my can says 8.6% not 9.5% so not sure if they changed it or someone just put it in wrong.
Mouthfeel is big medium approaching full, with fairly mellow carbonation.
Overall kind of torn like this beer, but not to style for a I2PA really , at least for me seems more like an Old Ale but it is enjoyable so overall try it. Also to be noted no date to be found anywhere so maybe its an aged I2PA but that would be the brewery's fault.

Beautiful amber pour. I don't get much if any aroma from it even as I continue to drink. Very sweet and extremely boozy tasting. Mild bitterness that kind gets masked in the alcohol.
