12oz can poured into a pint
Pours a pale hazy golden color with a small fuzzy white head. Smells of toasted wheat, lemon, earthy, grassy. Tastes of toasted wheat, lemon peel, phenolic clove, earthy dried hay. Medium-light body and carbonation, foamy mouthfeel and crisp finish. Tasty Hefe that drinks more like a saison

Tomoka is certainly a nice little brewery. If you are in the Daytona area you are fortunate to have them around.
This one is a nice wheat ale. It is yellow and hazy, like the name, with fine little bubbles. It has that great yeasty smell that it should.
The taste is pretty much right on where this style should be, making it an nice easy choice (but if you were looking for lighter, I would recommend their excellent weisse. This smells of the same yeast (maybe). This drinks like the easy versions of a German wheat, not hardly any bite. Extremely well balanced and authentic.
Tomola does well with the water they have, turning it into great beers. Congratulations. The Tomoka native Americans have a great namesake brewery.

Fast pour into Weisbier glass. Very unimpressive head, cloudy honey color. Slightly wheaty smell. Tastes light and fruity. Sweet tangerine flavor dominates pallet. Not very true to Hefeweizen style but still very refreshing. Perfect beer for cruising the Volusia county beaches.
