I enjoyed this on tap at the pub, review taken from notes.
The color is tarnished golden with light haze and thick rocky white head with very fine bead ..retention is very good. The smell has a fragrant blend of citrus hop aroma and slight pine ester with mild sweetness of malt in the nose. The feel is moderately malt influenced with semi-bitter almost balanced quality with low sweetness and yeast adding a creaminess with mild alcohol and mostly dry finish.
The taste is very mild at first with citrus and light tangy yeast present with slight orange zest and malt mild in the taste yet a slight piney herbal flavor comes through with a more pronounced citrus accent in the middle. Subtle malt backs up the bitterness with mild lemon quality from the hops apparent in the taste and mild alcohol for the 8%. Overall this is a pretty well brewed IPA...It has nice hop flavor but could use a little more bitterness and aroma. Tasty and drinkable with nice malt which doesn't obscure the hop flavor
