I had this on tap at the brewpub, review taken from notes
The color is black with opaque clarity and light tan head with fine bead. The smell has a smoked malt aroma with dark coffee and light toasted grain with mild caramel and molasses scent. The feel is of dark roasted grain with low sweetness at first with dry body and moderately roasted but low smoked texture and gentle bitterness with a light alcohol impact.
The taste is very nice with layers of dark fruit and light roasted grain in the taste with slihgt dark bread flavor and mild hint of smoke with slight woody accent and light anise note in the finish. This is a good porter the only thing that holds it back is that as the description is smoked it should have more smoke character in the flavor not just the aroma -but easy to quaff and low abv is a not apparent
