The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange/copper color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that left some mild messy lace. The aroma had some grassy sweet hops, mild bitterness from them, a light show of some citrusy tones, and a touch of floral hop qualities at the end. The flavor moderately blended the sweet to the bitter fairly nice. Smooth sweet citrusy/orange aftertaste and finish. The palate was almost medium bodied, seemed a touch under with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Overall, decent little APA I think I could come back to.

I enjoyed this on tap at the brewpub in Gettysburg, served chilled in a glass.
The color is golden with light haze and thin head with tiny bead with ringlets of lace left sticking on the sides of the glass. The smell is excellent -more fruity than most hoppy pales smell with tangy citrus hop ester very expressive and mild pepper and orange quality with orange zest type aroma and perhaps a hint of lime. The feel is moderately bitter with low sweetness and moderately carbonated with a gently tangy yeast and medium body with semi-dry finish.
The impression is tangy with tangerine and lime type citrus flavor with mild malt sweetness giving a balanced flavor with light yeast in the taste and slight herbal dankness from the hops with an almost grapefruit tropical fruity zesty intensity and the malt does a good job of balancing so as to keep the flavor interesting and make you return for more with a generally dry finish. Overall I loved the way the mandarina worked in this pale -my first experience with this hop and I think it fits this style well -lots of hop flavor yet quaffable and easy enough on the palate for multiple tastes.
