Aged in barrels that held both Jack Daniels and Cruzan Rum which imparted a very interesting smell and flavor profile. Unfortunately the barrel flavors were all you got from this beer. Little to no stout characteristics other than the color. Very, very thin with little carbonation. Quite a letdown after the Heaven Sent Imp Stout they did last year.
