Got this from a beloved local to the town, but I will try to rate fairly and unbiased. Half finger head on pour at cool but unrefrigerated temperature. Truly an amber to it's name in color, it is smooth but a pleasantly carbonated mouthfeel, and flavorful with hoppy citrusy nose, with a mildly bitter as well as nutty and caramelized flavor. The bitter does stay with you a while, but as a gentle friend and not as an aggressive adversary. Overall a nice balanced ale I wish I could get more often in the midwest.

22 oz. Bomber
Bottled On: 1/30/18
ABV: 6%
Poured into a tulip a pretty nice clean/clear dark amber color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine), slight pine. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine), slight pine, with a nice little sweetness. Medium body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a tasty brew.
