Pours a slightly cloudy dark orange with little head and no retention; the mango understandably gives a darker hue than a typical Belgian pale, but the lack of foam is less expected. The smell is delicate, even a bit muted, primarily with the yeasty, Belgian cracker characteristic of many of Taxman's standard lineup. The mango is noticeable but not strongly pronounced, sharing the stage with some lightly floral hops. The fruity character comes forward more on the palate, with a good bit of mango's dry tang alongside some spiced orange notes. Some pepper and peach on the finish.

A - Golden orange, tinted darker, slightly hazy, a bit of head fades quickly. No real lacing to speak of.
S - Mild yeasty notes, a bit of under-ripe mango, with a bit sweet mango juice, too.
T - Following the nose, but with deeper fruit notes, then a definite cracker and bread hit in the middle, and a slightly acidic bite in the close.
M - A bit sticky, with some acidity clearing in the close.
O - Nice complement of fruit and Belgian yeasts produces a very drinkable Belgian Pale.
