Had Golden Parachute poured from 16.9-oz. bottle, neck stamped "BOTTLED ON 08/08/18," into Teku tulip 3.0.
Pours light gold with clarity first pour, and cloudy second pour, with a huge, fizzing near-white head, almost instantly gone without a trace. Spicy aromas off pour, and continuing, over some mild cracker malt, soon joined by brett funk, and white wine grapes. Begins crisp, then huge funk, and some apple peel and white wine grape arrive over a smooth (malty) body, before a crisp, briefly bitter, drying but smooth finish.
Brett funk in an elegant, fruity Belgian golden ale.

10oz draft served in a snifter at fridge temp at the Bargersville brewpub. The beer pours bright golden yellow with abundant off white head. The head recedes to a few bubbles and a pencil thin ring leaving a little lacing. The aroma is mild with bretty pineapple and oak most apparent. The taste is tart fruity and oaky with a clear barely bitter finish. Mouthfeel is thin bodied, well carbonated and dry in the finish.

The best beer I've had from Taxman, other than their anniversary stout and variants. A very restrained and subtle use of brett and oak, resulting in an excellent and complex balance of funk, sweet, and just a tantalizing whisper of tartness. The Gold Standard base ale is not lost, with notes of straw, pineapple, and golden delicious apples.
