12 Oz. can pours an opaque dark plum color with beige head that quickly recedes to a ring, Aroma is mostly blackberry and raspberry with a bit of Belgian yeast and a hint of chocolate. The berries give this a tart flavor. Body is medium with average carbonation and a crisp mouthful. Did not meet my expectation as a Belgian dubbed, but pretty good as a fruit beer.

Pouring this from a 12 oz. bottle into a Chimay goblet this beer pours a plum like color and forms an off white/very light khaki color crown. Ruby highlights.
The smell is a barrage of natural berries. Very slight, but natural and a refreshing smell.
The taste comes in with a beautifully put together Belgian style yeast. Floral and berries tangling for a great mixture. Natural berries of blueberries, blackberries, raspberries. Slight chocolate just from the sweetness coming through.
The mouthfeel is dry and has some alcohol presence without being too boozy or burning.
Overall, this is a solid dubbel. The natural berries and floral make this such a refreshing drink. Really impressed by the Belgian effect.

12oz canned 10/24/18 (19 days ago) poured into a snifter at fridge temp 8% ABV 30 IBU. The beer pours medium to dark brown with red tinted light brown head. The head recedes to a few bubbles and a thin ring. A few small spots of lacing stick around. The aroma is mild berry, brown sugar and cola. The taste is barely tart berry mixed in with burnt sugar caramel and some caramel malt depth. The mouthfeel is medium to thin bodied, well carbonated and dry in the finish. Low bitterness, but no noticeable remaining sugar either. Overall, very good. This is certainly a nice beer and I feel like the berry addition improves the base beer.
