Triple the fruit, tripel the flavor. With an intensely flavorful trifecta of raspberry, ginger and citrus, this limited variant of our Belgian-style tripel will be your go-to refreshment this spring. Bright and tart berry notes, zesty lemon peel and ginger spiciness will leave your taste buds tingling.

Medium shaded, slightly reddish orange color. A sharp, shellac like aroma starts it off, with a touch of raspberry and a hint more ginger, mixed. A little tart for the start, then soft raspberry, melding with medium malt and ginger providing the little bite, in the taste.

12oz canned on 05/26/20 ( about 8 weeks ago) poured into a snifter at fridge temp 8.5% ABV 30 IBU per can. The beer pours fairly hazy reddish brown with blush tinted head. The head recedes to a thin cap and leaves plenty of lacing. The aroma is faint with Belgian yeast and ginger most prominent followed by raspberry. The taste is like a ginger spiced raspberry jam. Malt & Belgian yeast influence are subtle. Minimal bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, ok. I'm not a huge ginger fan, but I'll admit it was needed to balance the big raspberry sweetness. I prefer the base beer.

Hazed strawberry-rhubarb color with a finger of pink-purple-tinted head. Solid lacing.
Way too much carbon dioxide in the nose for the style. It pretty much dominates the aroma at first. After it sits for a while, some fairly strong ginger shows with a hint of berry beneath.
The taste seems like it will be sweet when you first sip it, with some raspberry and clove and maybe even some golden raisin — then the ginger hits. It’s not over the top, but it’s hard to pick out nuances underneath it. There’s more berry and a touch of pepper in the finish.
Nice, traditional, syrupy feel with slow-building carbonation.
If you let it breath a bit, this is a really enjoyable summer beverage. I look forward to trying the base beer.
